Jagdish Tytler

Jagdish Tytler, the Indian minister, implicated by two Judicial Commissions, for masterminding the massacres of Sikhs in Delhi in 1984 is being invited by the American Physicians of Indian Origin for dinner to honour his recent election to Indian Paliament.

This is a disturbing event. Words cannot express the pain, shock and humiliation that this causes for the Sikhs.

Witness84 would like to you urgently write a letter to American Physicians of Indian Origin urging them to immediately withdraw this invitation.

We have drafted the following letter. All you need to do is sign and send it immediately before his proposed visit on June 25th.

1)
Letter to AAPI
2)
Letter to the State Department
3)

UPDATE

We are happy to inform you that due to the collective efforts of many people who wrote in and those who protested in NY, the proposed visit of Jagdish Tytler to USA on Jun 25th was cancelled.

We are not sure whether this is a postponement or a final cancellation. Either way, we would like to continue to maintain pressure of highlighting Mr Tytler's involvement in the Delhi massacres of the Sikhs in 1984 and his unsuitability therefore to be a minister in the Indian Government.
